Yep. My big ass story that I never truly stop thinking about, even when I start other projects. That story I swore I would tell someday, even if I don't know exactly how yet.
You might remember that the story revolves around 3 friends who can transform into angels : Ciel, Iris and Alexya. Angels of the blue sky, the chaos, and the divine wrath respectively. Those are designs attempts for their magic circles, even though they might not be final yet...
I planned to come back to them to improve them a few times, but each time I couldn't really come up with change ideas... The date of the signatures being 2009 is therefore not a mistake.
I am kinda hitting a wall with those : I can't make up my mind on whether the fact they feel so different is a good thing or not... ...and actually, do they really feel that different, or is it just the usual thing of the creator being more maniac than he should? Should I add stuff on Ciel's? Or remove some on Alexya's...? I have trouble making up my mind.
I would be kinda interested on your input on those, if you have any.
Bloodstained mirror and all related elements belong to me (or is it the other way around? ). Use without permission (of anything) shall result in eternal torment.
Bullshit. Unless you keep the pages to yourself, I see none on your account.
Drawing a character once or twice is a whole different thing than actual pages or chapters. For me as long as there is not at least 10 pages, there is no "manga" being done, there is just design for a potential manga.
I love these, especially Ciel's and Alexya's. 8) The swirls around the bird really give it the feeling of freedom and motion, and all the sharp points and angles around the lion make it look very intense, and "wrath"ful. ^^
As just a comment, as a symbol, I much prefer the simplicity of Ciel's circle to the other two, though my finding Iris' less-than stellar is due to the bear in the middle feeling not all that serious, while Ciel's feels serious, to me. Alexya's just feels too busy, it has much more than either of the others, both within the circle and without. For a symbol, as I said, they should be almost simplistic. I don't really know what the circles will be doing, or where, however.
I think the skulls(?) on Iris' one look quite strange... I mean it's fine they're there but the way they're drawn looks, at least to me, very dissimilar to the big teddy thing.
And yes, a bit to come off of Alexya's one... the diamonds round the edge, I think.
Converse to ~Alphares, I think the bird's short wingspan makes it look better... and keeps it within the circle nicely.
