In the computer/webdesign/illustration industry, you never are out of work to do, and the last months were especially hectic, but still, there is such a thing as a time period when people can actually slow down. Fortunately.
This means I can finally go back to drawing. Thank god.
But this will have to wait a bit. I want to spend today doing nothing at all. Unless playing video games count as doing something (it doesn't really). Yeah, I know, an artist has to be hard working. But I usually am and I really need a day completely off right now. Too tired.
So anyway, I have this ready thanks to the photoshop class I am teaching. This picture was to show the creation of a complete digital work. This is why it is pretty simple, but also actually completely made by me unlike the previous ones. After that, I shared the file with the students and they had to edit the colors to something else as fast as possible. For this exercise a file with all the layers was needed, so yeah, you can see the whole process behind that simple drawing is actually kinda clever.
Anyways. Tomorrow I'll get to doing my traditionnal christmas thing (you know what it is...) and go back to drawing in general. Programming for Longcat will still be in there, but not much.
To tell the truth I am a bit scared of being rusty when it comes to actual drawing, but for now, lazy time!
The pointy chin doesn't bug me, as you said above it's anime style, you did a good job on the coloring, only thing I'd mention to change JUST a tiny bit is move her facial features alittle higher up, as her forehead at the moment seems abit to large ((even for being stylized anime))
You did a good job on the hair coloring and the soft shading of the skin good to see you drawing again.

I also know they have big eyes, small mouth and small noses.
Anything else to remind me I draw anime style?
