Character design for my game project with

Once Arquatia made the oceans and the magma rivers stopped, Earth was ready to receive the greatest of the Goddesses gift : Life.
Each Goddess provided a part of life, it was supposed to be perfect. Life would be enjoyable and meaningful.
Arquatia received the responsibility to be the guardian of life, and therefore are living being were protected in the safety of her oceans.

But the living prospered so well that soon, the oceans became too small.
Arquatia tried to expand the oceans throught her wonders. But her role has gardian of life during millions of years had weakened her.
She was a caring mother for life. But now she was tired. Too tired to be a mother for more living beings.
The universe now existed since a while, and almost all fragments of the Great Void had dissapeared.
But there was still one that the Goddesses had secretly kept in a faraway place in the skies.
This fragment was meant to be used to bring a new Goddess into the world when it would be in need.

The Goddesses argued for thousands of years.
No Goddess wanted the death of the kind and devoted Arquatia. But where the living worth of sacrificing the last known fragment of the great void?
If life ceased to exist, the Goddesses could just create new seeds of life again. What need to sacrifice the fragment?

In the end, it was Lutecia, the eldest of all Godesses, who went look for the fragment against the other's will, and begged him to save the living of the earth.
Lutecia prayed the fragment with all her heart. She was the responsible of the death of the Great Void. She didn't want to be responsible of any death again. She spent days praying while crying diamond tears.
And then, the fragment aswered her prayer, and became the Goddess that would made the outside of the oceans an home for life. It became the goddess of the Earth, Gaelle.

Lutecia then cried with joy, and her diamond tears became part of the earth.
Other Goddesses were planning to complain, but when placed in front of the fact the fragment was used, they soon accepted the newborn one.
Gaelle became the second guardian of life, and thanks to her magic, the earth soon became fertile and populated by many living beings.

Only one Goddess remaining!
But how is it possible since all fragment of the Void were used? ... Well you'll see next time.
