You probably remember the anti fandom abuse stamp : [link]

This stamp worked quite well, and most people actually got the point behind it. The hate comments were very few and even Naruto fans admitted their show's image suffered from overfans.

But I also thought it was kinda unfair, since Naruto fandom is not the only one to reach annoying levels, so it wasn't fair for the ninja kid.
Even if I am the first one to occasionnaly attack Naruto, when I got an explicit suggestion from :icondoxeh: to do an Avatar : the last airbender version, I decided I should allow any fandom abuse to be evenly criticized.

So the previous stamp becomes : "Anti fandom abuse stamp-Naruto", and this is the "avatar" one.

Others should come up regulary.

Fandom is nice. I have my fandoms too.
Sometimes there is just a show you like more than others for no objective reason. That's the mystery of art. That is perfect.

But what is bad is becomming so obsessed with an unique fandom that you forget anything else.
How many artists have lost their creativity thanks to fan art? How many viewers are missing great new shows before they watch a same episode 16 times?
And even worse, too much fandom is repulsive for other people, and in the end, you won't be able to share your passion for a show with one another because you'll scare him.
Stop fandom abuse. Be reasonable and responsible fans. It'll be good both for you and your favorite show's reputation.

I love both the naruto and avatar one.

I enjoy both of those shows, but avoid any rabid fans. x.x

Death note is not the worst, at least from what I saw on DA.
There is far less shipping, yaoi and "original characters" created in the Death Note universe than in other shows.

I would put Death note fandom the same level as the sailor moon one : it is quite important, put it isn't one of the leaders in terms of abuse.
