Stop fandom abuse - MLP:FIM by HyaKkiDouR4n Stop fandom abuse - MLP:FIM by HyaKkiDouR4n
For various reaons, I no longer do new stamps like this.
If you want to do one for a fandom of your choice, you can use this free source file for Photoshop : hyakkidour4n.deviantart.com/ar…

---------------------------------

Oh crud, I wanted to do this later, but so much demand arised that it had to be done. It only costs 5 minutes in Photoshop, so here goes.

It should give me some extra time to polish and debug my game, without feeling guilty of letting people wait with nothing new. I am currently in the process of testing if the demigod difficulty of the game is actually beatable. And I am lucky enough to discover some vicious bugs that only occur if you do X at a very specific time Y. that helps too.

Anyway, back to the stamp.
I now have two stamps complaining about how MLP became obnoxious by the fantards fault, but this one is the composed, calm, rational one. Not the "FUUUUUU" one.

Let's repeat it once again : I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE SHOW, IN THAT CASE MLP:FIM SUCKS.
It is about saying that by being too hardcore as a fan, you are actually altering the public image of your show, and end up turning it into something that seems unwatchable for regular people.

Now that we got this out of the way, enjoy the traditional copypasta that goes with any stamp of the series :

----------------------------------------------------------------
Fandom is nice. I have my fandoms too.
Sometimes there is just a show you like more than others for no objective reason. That's the mystery of art. That is perfect.

But what is bad is becomming so obsessed with an unique fandom that you forget anything else.
How many artists have lost their creativity thanks to fan art? How many viewers are missing great new shows before they watch a same episode 16 times?
And even worse, too much fandom is repulsive for other people, and in the end, you won't be able to share your passion for a show with one another because you'll scare him.
Stop fandom abuse. Be reasonable and responsible fans. It'll be good both for you and your favorite show's reputation.

All "Fandom Abuse kill interest" stamps :

I too have tried watching an episode, or, part of an episode,
and I honestly didn't see what the all the buzz was about at all

I'm not saying the show is bad or anything, but it's definitely for kids.
Or at least for something for the whole family, not middle-aged men.

I'm not flaming the fans themselves- just how they act...
I have my favorite fandom, but I don't go insane over it and forget about everything else. And I most definitely don't freak out about haters.

"Asfdjrf FUCL U FLUTTERSHY IS BESS PONAI!!!11!!!oneone"

I love lots of fandoms, myself. And I stand by the fact that people can like what they want, but I agree with this stamp.

I think you're looking at the "Rabid Brony" crowd.

Most of us are actually smart people that know how to not constantly reference ponies. Maybe have a MLP profile pic, or Desktop background, or wear a MLP t-shirt occasionally, but you know what? There are fandoms that are MUCH WORSE. Go flame some Homestuck fans, they're unintelligent trollbait that believe in magic and "TALK LIEK TEH GAMZEE".

Why are you stereotyping the Homestucks? In my opinion, there are worse fandoms than homestuck and mlp.

Perhaps...

I'm not flaming anyone personally. I'm purely stating fact... I see plenty of "Rabid Bronies" on MLP hate stamps/art... But frankly there are crazed haters too. I'm neutral, myself... I don't hate it, but I won't go as far as to say I like it... There's just so many things related to ponies on the Internet these days and it's driving me mad, and not just because it's popular.
What about the earlier generation ponies? Has the fandom forgotten about what started this whole thing? Are they really that bad? Just lemme say, the older ponies that I grew up with, are ponies. There weren't any pony/human mutants called Equestria Girls. XD They were a little gender specific, though...

Now I'm not saying you can't like it, or that every fan is crazy (I never said that to begin with), hell, I'm not even saying that this is the only fandom with a crazy fanbase. I knew I'd get feedback for that comment, but I was hoping others would respect my opinion and what I have to say...

I'll be honest, I never watched My Little Pony, including the Friendship is Magic generation, but I think the problems within the fandom had me push the show away from myself. It's just, I didn't think I would feel right if I watched the show.

I watched the show, didn't care. But I've highly considered going against the fandom because of the levels of immaturity.

I adore M.L.P.: F.i.M. And I see nothing wring with the show, however, most of my real life friends don't. I see nothing wrong with a little opinion. As long as they don't bash me about I like it because they think the show is for girls. I draw PPG more than the show. Yes, I have a pony icon for my profile because I practice my drawing of horses. But I have a question for the people who hate it because they think the show is for kids, If it was made by adults, why can't adults watch it?
