21XX.

I always hated school trips at the museum. I mean, what are good for pictures that don't even move?

But I didn't know this visit would change my life.

It was in this room, with a voluntary stupid retro feel from the 21th century in it.
It was there that I saw it. This magnificent picture. A shock, a file of gigaterabytes of data flowing my emotive organs.

Soon the old guide who was in the room remarqued me. And he couldn't resist to approch me with a smirk.

"You seem to like it, young man."

I was a little embarrassed. What should I answer. I mean even if he's a museum guy, I would feel stupid saying him my emotional state.
Plus he was just an old geezer anyway. At least 30 years old. A parasite to our effective society.
But at that time, I just could not think or speak, so I just noded the old man.

"There is no problem, lad. You're not the first one. This is an artwork by a grand master."

"Who is this master?" asked I immediately without thinking.

"He is the famous L337_RoxXor_21545. One of the greatest artists in the 21th century. He made thousands and thousands of works, but unfortunately most were lost in the internet during the change to the 10th internet protocol.
But here, at our museum. We have this great work of him, a masterpiece."

"How could he achieve such perfection?" asked I then.

The old geezer took some time to answer. As if he was somehow trying to put suspense in the conversation.
Stupid jerk. ineffectiveness is a crime, you know that? I'll report you.

"He made screenshots."

"Screenshots?"

"Yes, It is a form of art that seem to have been used a lot in the last century. But we don't know much about it today..."

"...But some say it was the first step toward the automated art we have today. the one made automatically by computers with global human taste algorithms."

No way! That geezer means this was actually made without those... with a human behind the computer? God that L337_RoxXor_21545 guy must have been a genius.

"L337_RoxXor_21545 is known as the first artist. He changed everything and replaced the obsolete definition of the word that was in use before."

"You mean an artist wasn't someone who wanted to produce the most pictures as they are expected by the public before?"

"No. Before an artist was a person who wondered about the meaning of life, or the meaning of beauty, and tried to express his thinking through pictures, objects, or stories."

...What?

"But this is just ridiculous!" I yelled.

"Isn't it, young man?". The old geezer laughed.
"Well this conversation was far too unproductive, so I am going to leave you alone now, young man."

He took some more improductive time to use his hat to salute me. And then he started walking.

"I hope you enjoyed your day.", he said as he moved away.

I sure did.
On this day, I decided that me too would become an artist. I would be famous just like him. I want to be a real artist. A famous, productive one, who does screenshots!
Screw the meaning of life, screw the meaning of beauty, screw uneffectiveness, screw the old geezers.

The world of art will soon belong to me.

Whoa. C'est... très profond. Non, sérieusement, ca me laisse sans voix, c'est pas faux que ce monde là n'est pas loin... j'aime beaucoup la manière donc tu l'as écrit. C'est assez révélateur comme texte...
Bref j'aime beaucoup !

YARRRGHHHH TROP BIENNNN!!!! Je veux voir un musée avec des tableaux comme ca! 2 ou 3 portraits de Sephiroth, 1 ou 2 Alucard et pourquoi pas en passant quelques tableaux d'Illidan ! Mouarh ha ha!
