Last part of this self-parody comic with my superheroine, Victory Girl.
This one is probably not as random as the others, but it just has the conclusion I am pretty proud of for a fight between a fictionnal superhero and a normal person.
You should know from my gallery full of magical or superpowered girls that I would never doubt the coolness of hero possessing supernatural powers.
Powers and magic are great to bring variety in plot (just how many realistic stories can you write that feel actually different? ). Magic make the action so much more interesting, and allows imagination to run wild from any constraints, which IS fun.
But despite how cool these magical and super heroes are and I how much I love them (I should even say heroines in my case )... Despite how hard they would pwn us real people if we actually could fight, we still have a power they don't have : we are real
That doesn't mean superheroes can't be used to talk metaphorically but seriously of real problems, kinda like the X-men and racism, making them "useful" IRL despite being imaginary. But in the end, they still remain imaginary despite having a real interest for writers and readers.
The conclusion? This fight is in fact a draw : the actual fight is obviously won by Victory Girl by forfeit after the real girl witnesses her heat vision, but Victory Girl then "loses" when she learns the person she was talking to has actually a "equivalent in reality", unlike her.
Besides the "philosophical" aspect, this also allows me to make a "no one wins" situation, which is good so this comic doesn't offend neither me (I would not like to make Victory Girl lose obviously ), or the real deviants who claimed randomly that they could beat Victory Girl (having Victory Girl just reducing them to dust would have been kinda mean ).
Anyway hope you liked this little interlude. Different stuff next time, even if it is likely to still be Victory Girl related

"And having proved his own existence, all faith that God exists disappeared and without the faith of mortals to sustain him, God promptly disappeared in a puff of logic."
