IMPORTANT : this is a stand-alone release of the ending movie of my flash game, as it was in the latest beta.
You might want to "earn" this ending by trying the game out here : [link]

It's been a month since the release of the "pretty much final" beta, which already contained this little movie.

Since then, I could not use many time for art, at least things beyond sketches.
The fact I no longer have internet at home doesn't help either, and is probably responsible for a little procrastination...

So, in order to fight the complete lack of updates and try to "put me back on tracks", I decided to post this as a stand-alone, just as I did with the intro.

I should also post pictures used in this separately as well : I think updating more often on DA actually stimulates me to draw, so I'll try to launch that virtuous circle running again.

So anyway, the ending movie.
I actually like this way better than the intro. Not saying the intro is totally bad to my eyes but I admit it had its mistakes.
The ending just flows better, IMO.

And you, what do you think?

Sound should hopefully come soon, until then, hope you still dig it in mute version.

Victory Girl just became one of my favorite superheroines. And the ending was a nice touch; sorry that your game project didn't go so well. I would've liked to see more.

I don't know what to respond.
I am glad you like her, but to me she represents a gigantic pile of problems I struggled with for virtually no results.

I don't exclude completely the idea of somehow coming back to her someday. But if I do, I'll definitely go through a complete redesign/rewriting.
But considering the global situation, I am really not sure this will ever happen.

Sad. It pains me to see an author viewing his/her creation as a gigantic pile of problems. It should be the exact opposite; I think creating a character through an imaginative design, well thought out dialogues, and sometimes even an endearing personality, is no easy task but is very artistic and special.
So I hope you come back to that project soon; it seems to have a lot of potential.

I have talked about this many times.

Issues were piling up in the plot, the game code, and I started to hate the character design.
(Amongst other places, I explain it here in horrible audio : [link]

I may have continued if the popular support had been bigger. but basically, it was not. Relative to the work required to code a game, this was just not worth it.
(To give an idea, each game was getting less favorites and views that a quickly done picture of a bikini girl.)

The game also offered the opportunity to make donations. I never got any.

I got a few people like you who said they liked her. Especially after I gave up (probably they realized that the game they took for granted would not come...). But sadly it is just too little, too late.

At some point an artist needs money or a good amount of support in order to keep doing something that big. I got neither so I eventually gave up.

Serina at least has support from my family. Some even offered me to lend me money. This never happened with Victory Girl although they knew about it. I don't know if Serina will ever be a success in the commercial sense of the term, but at least I feel like I am doing it for people who really desire it.

If people on the Internet had done that for Victory Girl, I probably wouldn't have changed my plans.

Considering the conversation we had before, I thank you even more for that comment.
Nice to see some people won't judge the whole thing focusing only on a point they don't like much. :)

Why does the mom dress like that in front of her small child?

Actually my mom did that on a pretty regular basis and I also used to make fun of that when I was a kid. She always said that since we are family, we at least saw each other naked once, so there is no reason to be too prude.

Overall, I am fairly normal in the end, so I'd say it is rather harmless for a mom to do that.
